Actress. She was born Patsy Ann Epperson in Saint Louis, Missouri. A prolific character actress, best remembered for portraying roles as landladies, teachers, and secretaries, many of her over one hundred film roles were uncredited. She worked in the 1930s with the Columbia Pictures short-subject unit, serving as the foil for such comics as Andy Clyde and the Three Stooges. In the 1940s, she was a semi-regular in various productions at MGM, showing up in the "Our Gang", "Passing Parade", and "Crime Does Not Pay" series of films. Her memorable film roles include "Miracle on 34th Street" (1947) and "Gun Crazy" (1949). She spent her last active years in television, appearing in "The Red Skelton Show", "The Lone Ranger", "Lassie", and "Gunsmoke" among others. Her final role came as one of the "rejuvenated" senior citizens in the 1962 Twilight Zone episode, "Kick the Can." She retired in Woodland Hills, California.
